Dysport Non-Surgical Skin Rejuvenation – Lake Tahoe and Reno, Nevada

Only the second drug to be approved by the FDA as a wrinkle treatment, Dysport® is an acetylcholine release inhibitor and a neuromuscular blocking agent. Dysport received FDA approval in April 2009, but has been used in other countries since 1991.  Dysport is injected into the muscles between the brows, that cause frown lines. There is no downtime. Injections only take a few minutes, and the patient may return to work.  An alternative to BOTOX®, Dysport® may work faster and possibly last longer than its counterpart. There are consequences, however.  Dysport®  is a little bit less expensive as BOTOX®, but  you will need about two – two and a half times the amount of  Dysport®.

Dysport™ is the newest botulinum toxin type A on the market.  It was FDA approved in April 2009, but used in other countries since 1991. Dypsort™ is used to temporarily improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows. It can also be used for “crows feet”, forehead lines, and peri-oral lines around the mouth.
